With its flex index score 8 out of 20, the Apex 8 2021 is medium stiff and this harness is characterized by a high outline. Thanks to the 3D Curve Plus Spine, this harness provides a lot of support and the pressure is evenly distributed over the back. In addition, the Apex 8 is equipped with flexible side panels so that it retains its freedom of movement. On the inside you can find EVA material, which prevents the harness from sliding up and down, or turning. This keeps the harness in place. The Apex 8 is a light yet durable hybrid construction, with a clever mix of materials.

The foam that the Apex 8 is built with is elastic HD foam, which contributes to comfort without absorbing water. A C-BAR 2.0 is included with the Apex 8. This is a spreader bar from ION with a stainless steel hook and the user-friendly tension lever system. The latter allows for quick attachment and detachment of the harness without having to adjust the side straps each time. The bar comes without a rope, which can be added as an option. Thanks to the modular hook system, you can easily adjust the spreader bar to your personal preference.

The buckle is made of PVC material and the Apex 8 comes standard with a safety knife to cut through lines in dangerous situations. The flexible belt closure system on the inside guarantees a good fit, and can adapt to any unique body position. The Apex 8 is available in 6 different sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL and 3 different colors: black, red and gray.
