The Slingshot SST V6 2022 Kite is the ultimate waverider kite from Slingshot. The kite delivers amazing drift, speed and response to maximize the fun on the water. The Slingshot SST V6 2022 has been extensively tested by Slingshot's professional testing team and none other than the customer himself. A study was conducted over a period of 3 months allowing the customers to test the Slingshot SST V6 2022 prototype and provide their feedback, data and input. This has resulted in a huge performance jump compared to the previous SST. This year the kite is even faster, lighter and even more technical than its predecessor. The kite turns much faster, delivers better upwind performance and is even easier to relaunch.

But what has been improved for 2022? In the wingtips, which Slingshot calls 'responsive wingtip', there is an extra curve this year that, in combination with the renewed IRS bridle, provides extra speed and an even more responsive feel. In addition, the kite relaunches more easily and the wind range is increased. The struts have been replaced for Micro struts. As the name suggests, they are the thinnest and lightest struts ever. The struts give the kites a lot of structure, while keeping the weight and drag low to take the kite's drift and response characteristics to the next level. The bridle system was also renewed this year. By using premium materials, the line width of the bridle has been reduced by 25%. The Slingshot SST V6 2022 Kite is a compact C kite, giving the kite the perfect balance between friendly, responsive handling and smooth sheet-and-go power delivery. The fabric of the SST V6 is made of 4x4 Teijin ripstop, the strongest, stiffest and more durable fabric on the market.
